Lectures are scheduled in the mornings from 10:00 - 13:00 or in the afternoons from 14:00 - 17:00. Students are expected to do 2 hours of homework daily, which is marked by the teacher. Students can schedule daily 30 minute sessions with the teacher to discuss their homework and receive individual help.
Note: while it is possible to combine a morning and afternoon course, we advise against it due to the amount of work that each course is for the student (approx. 30 hours). Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

Dive into a transformative learning experience this summer with IB Academy's Online Summer Courses, running from August 5 - 9, August 12-16, August 19-23 and from August 26-30. Our 5-day online courses are designed to maximize the learning before the schoolyear starts, designed to strengthen core skills and lay a robust foundation for the upcoming academic year.
Our courses offer an engaging mix of in-depth revision of theory and IB-style questions. Each five-day session totals 15 hours of interactive classes, complemented by 10 hours of homework which is meticulously marked by our teachers. Individual 30 minute homework discussions ensure that each student assimilates their feedback, improving their understanding and confidence.
Details:
- 27.5 hours of guidance per subject over 5 days
- 15 hours of class: mornings from 10:00-13:00, or afternoons from 14:00-17:00
- 10 hours of homework: 2 hrs of homework per day, marked by the teacher
- 2.5 hours of individual homework discussion: 30 minutes each day
- Small groups with up to 7 students per teacher
Is this programme for me?
Our Summer Courses help students to cement what they have learned the year before. As a result students are better prepared for the challenges of the next academic year!
These courses are ideal for students transitioning into DP2 as we will be covering subject fundamentals and the topics covered in DP1. Students transitioning into DP1 are welcome to join, but it would be best to contact us beforehand.
