Winter Revision Courses 2026–2027

Our Winter Courses focus on strengthening the core knowledge and skills students need for a particular subject. They are an ideal way to keep your knowledge active over the winter break, address gaps before the second half of the year and start exam revision early.
Course formats
In-person Winter Courses — Utrecht
Our standard Winter Courses are intensive three-day courses at IB Academy in Utrecht.
- 3 days of teaching from 09:00–18:00
- 24 hours of in-person support over the three days
- Small groups with up to 7 students per teacher
- Structured subject revision and IB-style practice
- Lunch, snacks, coffee and tea are provided
Online Winter Course — 2–3 & 9–10 January
The Business Management, Economics and ESS Winter Courses use a different online format, designed to combine focused teaching with personalised support and independent practice between sessions.
- 4 days of online teaching from 10:00–14:00
- 16 hours of support per subject across the four days
- The final 30 minutes each day are dedicated to meeting with your teacher to discuss homework, ask questions and receive personalised support
- Homework and independent practice between course days
- Small groups with up to 7 students per teacher
What is included?
- An additional 30-minute meeting with your teacher before the course, giving you the opportunity to discuss personal goals, difficult topics and learning preferences.
- Small-group, targeted teaching
- Structured revision of important subject content and skills
- Guided application using IB-style and past-paper questions
- Relevant IB Academy study materials
- Courses are confirmed after receiving at least 3 registrations
Is this programme for you?
Our Winter Courses offer an intensive review to solidify your knowledge, strengthen your understanding and sharpen your past-paper practice ahead of the important mock-exam period.
They are also an opportunity to get ahead with final-exam revision, identify weaknesses early and build a stronger foundation for the months leading up to the IB exams.
Winter Courses are primarily designed for DP2 students, but DP1 students are also welcome. We can help DP1 students maximise their experience by focusing on the content and sessions most relevant to what they have already covered.
